Transport/Travel information

Each organisation is responsible for booking tickets for their National Rally Team. Before purchasing the tickets, please contact Rural Youth Europe to check your travel plans. All travel invoices and schedules must be sent to the office e-mail by 28th June 2022.

Please consider environment friendly options when arranging your travel. Please see the next page for the address of the venue.

For teams travelling to Germany by plane, we advise flights to Bremen Airport or Hannover Airport. If necessary, Hamburg Airport could also be possible. Note that cheaper flights to faraway airports might create more expensive local transport. From the airports there are good connections to continue the journey by train.

For travel by train or bus, head to ‘Nienburg (Weser)’ train station. The local team will pick up the participants at the station but it is also possible to reach the venue by foot. The easiest way to book public transport in Germany is this webpage: https://www.bahn.com/en

For teams travelling by car, there is plenty of parking space right next to the venue.

Arrival: We ask that all participants arrive at the venue between 11am and 6pm on Sunday 31st July 2022.

Departure: Please consider planning the return journey, starting from ‘Nienburg’ train station, on Sunday 07th August 2022, no later than 1pm.
