Open Call: Youth Policy Dialogue on AI and the Future of Work with Executive Vice-President Roxana Mînzatu

Are you interested in how artificial intelligence is changing the world of work?

Do you have thoughts about how AI is affecting young people's opportunities, careers and entry into the labour market?

Rural Youth Europe is looking for rural young people aged 18–30 residing in Europe to apply for a Youth Policy Dialogue with Executive Vice-President Roxana Mînzatu of the European Commission.

The Dialogue will focus on the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on work, particularly entry-level jobs and young people's transition into employment. Participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences and ideas directly with the European Commission and contribute to ongoing discussions on Europe's future of work.

We welcome applications from young people with different experiences and backgrounds, including:

• Rural and urban youth

• Students, workers and job-seekers

• Young people from vocational, academic and other educational backgrounds

• People with different levels of experience using AI technologies

Travel, accommodation and subsistence costs will be covered by the organisers.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be aged 18–30

• Reside in a European country

• Be available to travel to Brussels on 10 November 2026

• Ideally not have previously participated in a European Commission Youth Policy Dialogue
