“Sound of Mobility” Training Course
September 26 - September 29
Podcast, media and storytelling training course
A 4-day training course to acquire know-how and skills in podcasting, media and storytelling.
Young people working with young people and youth workers from all over Europe are invited to join this training course to professionally develop in the field of podcasting – learn how to use up-to-date tools and techniques in youth work and to promote European mobilities. The training course will also offer an invaluable space to exchange experiences and knowledge, and to expand professional networks. Ultimately, the participants will be able to pass on new competences and know-how to young people they work with.
Considering the white noise of misinformation, manipulation, and simplification in the media space, the training course will put a specific focus on modern forms of journalism – those oriented at broader context, cooperation with other professions, solutions, and engagement with an audience. These are effective tools to create outstanding work and help the audience navigate the topics and get important insights through attractive media.
The design of the training course will help participants to learn, not only from guests and in-house experts, but also each other. The whole event will be interactive and allow everyone to put knowledge into practice (hands-on sessions) and even lay foundations for new collaborations, within countries or across borders.
Is it just about one event? Not at all!
The Sound of Mobility project goes beyond the framework of the four-days training course, since participants will also contribute to the production of a new podcast series focused on European mobilities – they will conduct interviews and have an opportunity to speak on air as hosts.
