Rural Learning on the Move – Training Course on Non-Formal education

The aim of A2 is that that rural youth organisations’ volunteers and staff build understanding of the role of non-formal education in youth competence building in a rural context and develop skills and attitudes to support youth competence building through non-formal education.
The objectives are that the staff member and volunteers of rural youth organisations:
1. Gain knowledge about non-formal education, its principles, methodologies and approaches and work on how rural youth organisations can use non-formal learning to the benefit of rural youth
2. build competences to plan and facilitate good-quality non-formal learning processes
3. create awareness of CoE and EYF and how rural youth work is working on youth rights
4. Produce materials for a tool in the format of playing cards, to support designing of non-formal learning processes of high quality.
Participants will be active volunteers and staff members of rural youth organisations. They are in key positions in their organisation to make changes, disseminate and put their learnings into practice.
