An oldie but a goodie - see videos from Rally 2006!

Latvian 4H has sent us their videos from the European Rally they organised in Latvia called "Pearls in contrast - multicultural aspects of rural youth". The event was organised 15-22 July 2006 in Druva, the Saldus region of Latvia.

We encourage also other organisations and participants to send us their photos and videos from past Rural Youth Europe events!

Participants had the opportunity to share experiences with young people from Latvia and other European countries and learn about the similarities and differences in rural development in Europe. During the Rally participants were involved in preparations for Midsummer night and celebrated it by singing, dancing, making and tasting the traditional black bread, cheese and other Latvian specialities.
